How do I start the process of creating and selling my supporter product?
To start the process of creating and selling your supporter product, you simply need to click "Select Package" on your desired package above. This will then take you to a product page where you will need to add your desired package to cart and complete purchase at checkout, just like you would for any clothing product on our store. This is still required for the free Novice package, but no payment will charged.
How can I submit details for my supporter product after purchasing a package?
After placing an order for a package, you will be contacted by fight-threads@akcapparel.com within 2 business days at the email you provided when placing your order. This should not be confused with the automatic order confirmation email sent after your purchase. After our initial email where we will confirm specifics, communication can continue via Instagram messages (@akcapparel) or remain through email, depending on your preference.
Is this a subscription-based program?
Our packages are not part of a subscription or ongoing membership. Each package is a one-time purchase for a single supporter product. For example, if you want both a hoodie and sweatpants available for your supporters to purchase, you would need to purchase a package for each product.
How can I ensure my design matches my vision?
To make sure you get exactly what you're after, once our team sends the initial email seeking details, please be ready to respond with clear references or examples of the style of design you want. This helps us understand exactly what you're looking for, and will avoid us having to make revisions. While we don't have an official limit on the amount of revisions we offer, we may decline if the requests become unreasonably extensive.
Where can my supporters purchase my product?
Your supporters will be able to purchase your product via a link to an unlisted product page of your item. This page is only accessible through the unique link provided and will not appear anywhere else on our website, unlike products from o official collabs.
How will I receive my profit share?
Your profit share will be sent at the end of the selling period for your supporter product, or sooner if you prefer. Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. If neither of these options work, you can contact us for alternatives at fight-threads@akcapparel.com. After your product goes live, you will also receive an order tracking sheet that will update in real time, where you can monitor your sales and total profits.
Why is the package I want sold out or unavailable?
Packages, particularly our free Novice package, may be listed as sold out or unavailable during busy periods or when we have many orders in queue. They are typically made available for purchase again within 7–10 days.
How long will it take for my supporters to receive their orders?
What products are available besides T-shirts and hoodies?
We offer a wide range of clothing items for supporter products in various styles and fabrics, from essentials to more unique options. If you're looking for something specific and want to confirm we can produce it, feel free to contact us at fight-threads@akcapparel.com.
What exactly are the promotional graphics in the Champion package?
The promotional graphics included with the Champion package are digital, poster-style images that you can share on your socials to promote your product. These graphics can help increase sales and give your promotions a professional look.
Can I have something completely custom-made?
If you are looking to have a garment completely custom-made, including specific construction, features, and materials, we may be able to accommodate your request depending on the requirements. Custom orders require a minimum order quantity of 20 pieces. To discuss your design and confirm what’s possible, please email us at fight-threads@akcapparel.com.
Why did you guys launch the Fight Threads program?
AKC's Fight Threads program was launched with the primary purpose of being able to support fighters, especially young amateur boxers, both financially and promotionally. Since the inception of AKC, we always wanted the brand to have a connection to boxing. What we didn’t expect was for our collaborations with fighters in creating supporter merch to become such a significant part of our brand — so much so that people would begin to mistake us for a manufacturer or supplier.
While we had only created supporter merch for our brand athletes and select pros as official collabs, we considered moving away from the production of it, as it was starting to become the defining aspect of our brand. However, after careful consideration, we realised that the opportunity to support fighters around the world, especially young amateur boxers who lack funding and exposure, far outweighed any potential drawbacks.
