Urijah Harrington | All on the Line
A Rising Talent in the Ring
Urijah Harrington is already making a significant impact in the world of amateur boxing, and he's only 14 years old. With an impressive record of 12 wins and 4 losses, and having beaten every opponent he's faced, Urijah is building a reputation as one of the brightest young prospects in Australia. His journey in boxing is one fueled by passion, family tradition, and an unrelenting drive to succeed.

Born and raised in Shepparton, Victoria, Urijah trains and competes at the Goulburn Valley Boxing Academy (GVBA), a gym that has nurtured his growth as a fighter. Boxing is not just a sport for Urijah; it’s a way of life. It’s deeply ingrained in his family’s history, spanning four generations, with his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father all having been part of the boxing world.
A Legacy to Uphold
Urijah’s entry into boxing was a natural one, thanks to his family’s legacy. His father introduced him to the sport when he was just five years old, and the tradition of boxing has been passed down through generations. Although his first steps into the gym were filled with nerves, Urijah’s passion for the sport was undeniable, and he quickly immersed himself in the discipline required to excel. It was clear that boxing was in his blood.
Looking to the future, Urijah’s goals are clear. He’s setting his sights on competing in the 2032 Olympics in his home country, Australia. But his dreams don’t stop there. Urijah envisions himself stepping into the professional ranks, winning world titles, and ultimately claiming the undisputed championship. Inspired by the sharp footwork and tactical brilliance of Vasyl Lomachenko, as well as the toughness of Marvin Hagler, Urijah is determined to develop a well-rounded skill set that will take him to the top of the boxing world, like his inspirations.
The Drive to Succeed
For Urijah, the thrill of boxing lies in the hard work he puts in and the results that follow. Nothing compares to the satisfaction of stepping into the ring and seeing all the hours of training pay off. Getting his hand raised after a fight is what fuels his passion for the sport, but it’s not just about the victory, it’s about the journey, the struggle, and the growth.

While Urijah loves every aspect of boxing, he’s also realistic about the challenges the sport presents. From the intense physical toll to the mental fortitude required to succeed, boxing is no easy feat. But Urijah embraces the grind, using it as motivation to push through and continue improving every single day.
A True Athlete
When Urijah is not in the gym, he enjoys running, a passion that helps him stay fit and keeps his endurance in check. Running complements his boxing training by enhancing his stamina, agility, and overall fitness, vital aspects that help him maintain an edge over his competition.
Urijah’s goals are set high, and his ambition is to be remembered as one of the best to ever step into the ring. His accolades at such a young age highlight his promise, and with his relentless pursuit of excellence, Urijah is set on leaving a lasting legacy in the sport of boxing—one that no one will forget.
